The award names hospitals that perform well across the board—achieving the highest national scores on a set of measures that represent hospital-wide performance. This means that Arrowhead Hospital produces solid patient outcomes, has good patient safety, and provides efficient care at a reasonable cost, compared with other hospitals across the country. The hospital is well-managed and has growing numbers of people seeking care in the inpatient, emergency department, ambulatory surgery, and outpatient services.

Solucient produces these benchmarks every year to help other hospitals set goals for higher performance.

With the completion of the expansion in July of 2006, Arrowhead Hospital doubled the square footage of the hospital, increased the bed count from 115 to 220 beds, added the latest technology, increased staff levels, and introduced new programs. Arrowhead Hospital has grown to meet the needs of the Northwest Valley. We are conveniently located in Glendale, Arizona off Loop 101 and 67th Avenue.
