Visiting Hours

• General visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• We recommend short visits with no more than two visitors at a time.
• Patient care is our primary concern and specific visiting hours and regulations have been established for some units. Visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments, or when the doctor or nurse needs to see the patient.
• Reasonable visiting arrangements may be made for families of surgical patients on the day of surgery.
• For our patients’ health, children under 12 are not allowed except in selected departments. During certain months, children are not permitted to visit. Please check with the nurses’ station before bringing in visitors under age 12.
• Visitors should check with the nurse before bringing food or drink to patients to make sure these items are appropriate.
• Flowers and gifts are not allowed in the Intensive Care Unit.  Visiting hours are restricted in the ICU.  Please call the department for more information.
• Patients may be called between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., unless directed otherwise. Call 623-561-1000 and ask for the patient by name or room number.

Cafeteria
The cafeteria is located south of the front lobby area.

Cafeteria Hours:
Weekdays: 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Weekends: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Vending machines are located in the cafeteria and are available 24 hours a day.

Health Plans
Arrowhead Hospital accepts all major health plans. Click here for a complete list of accepted plans.

Non-smoking
Arrowhead Hospital is a non-smoking facility. Please ask our staff for the location of the designated smoking areas.

Cellular phones
The use of cellular phones is not permitted in patient care areas. They can be used in the waiting areas and in the first floor lobby.

Parking
Visitor Parking is available free of charge in the parking lots directly west of the main entrance. A Volunteer is available to provide shuttle service from the hospital to the parking lot in one of our golfcarts.

Kachina Gift Shop
The Kachina Gift Shop is located to the right of the hospital lobby.

The Kachina Gift Shop is owned and operated by the Arrowhead Hospital Auxiliary which supports the Auxiliary programs.

Weekdays: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Sundays: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

You may contact the gift shop to have balloons, flowers, or other gifts delivered to a patient. Call
623.561.7259 to order or for more information. The Kachina Gift Shop also offers Entertainment Books for $20 each.

The gift shop accepts cash, checks, VISA, MC, and Discover. There is a minimum $10 purchase with credit card sales. As a 501 (C) 3 non-profit, there is no sales tax added to your purchase.
