Arrowhead Hospital Hosts Hall of Fame Catcher,
Johnny Bench
Arrowhead Hospital, in partnership with Stryker, is proud to
bring area residents a free community Education Seminar on New
Treatments and Technologies for Orthopedics. Local orthopedic
specialists will discuss the latest advancements in joint replacement
and Hall of Fame Catcher Johnny Bench will share his personal
joint replacement experience.
Hall of Fame Major league Baseball catcher Johnny Bench underwent total hip replacement in April of 2004 after suffering for years from chronic joint pain. He researched his options and chose to receive the Trident® Ceramic Hip from Stryker. After undergoing the procedure and receiving this high performance implant, Mr. Bench was able to realize his lifestyle recovery goals and get back to his active life without pain. He will be sharing his joint replacement experience with attendees at an educational seminar on Thursday, March 8, 2007, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Arrowhead Hospital. Attendees will learn about the latest technologies in hip and knee replacement and have the chance to have their joint replacement questions answered by renowned orthopedic surgeons.
