Wellness Connection

In addition to caring with compassion for those who are ill, Arrowhead Hospital has a strong tradition of supporting and fostering community health and well-being. Arrowhead Hospital offers numerous educational classes, health fairs, support groups, exercise classes, health screenings, and special health and wellness-related events to the Arrowhead community and beyond through our Wellness Connection, Cancer Resource Center, and Women’s and Infants’ Services. These programs have helped thousands of area residents and continue to grow to meet the evolving health, medical, and fitness needs of the community.

Holding over 75 classes a month makes the Wellness Connection a unique, one-of-a-kind community outreach for Arrowhead Hospital. The Wellness Connection touched over 57,000 lives last year with community members attending over 1600 events, classes, health fairs, lectures, support groups, and much more. Many of the lectures and other classes that are held at the Wellness Connection are free or have a nominal fee. Registration for Wellness Connection classes can be done online, by phone at 623.572.4542 or you can stop in and register.

The Wellness Connection also offers free literature on health related topics. A free lending library on health topics on VHS is also being put together for the community’s use.

The Wellness Connection is located on the Arrowhead Hospital campus at 6670 West Sack Drive, under the blue awning, in Glendale, Arizona. The Wellness Connection office is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Blood pressure screenings are available Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
